STL File Analyzer Do you want to ensure the security of your files while quoting? Then install our STL File Analyzer . Note: You may also see this STL File Analyzer referred to as a Browser Plug-in, ActiveX Control or RedEyeQuote.cab. The STL File Analyzer analyzes your parts statistics and checks the CAD.stl file for unmatched edges and bad geometry. Once this is completed, the analyzer then sends the file statistics, not your part geometry, to the RedEye RPM server for quoting. When you decide to order, the analyzer then compresses your STL file into a proprietary format and uploads it to our server. The STL File Analyzer allows you to obtain quotes through RedEye RPM without anyone seeing your proprietary data. The plug-in works with Internet Explorer 4.0 or later. Without the STL File Analyzer installed you can still get quotes for your CAD STL files. But they will have to be uploaded to our server in order for us to analyze the files and generate the quotation. Find out more about how RedEye RPM works with and without the STL File Analyzer installed . Note: Administrator privileges are required to complete the installation. Save Price Quote Save 3D Print Quote Quotes can be saved for a period of 30 days. You should save a quote if you need to get approval or plan on ordering at a later date. In order to save your quote your STL files will need to be uploaded via our secure 128-bit encrypted transfer to our server. All files are automatically removed after 30 days. If a quote is not saved and you want to order parts you will have to start the quoting process over from the beginning. Special Request Saving a quote with the request option not only saves your quote but allows you to enter any special requests in a comments field. Upon saving, your files are uploaded to our server via a secure 128-bit encrypted transfer. And an e-mail is generated to RedEye RPM indicating that there is a quote that needs to be looked at. A project coordinator can then view the quotation and the special request. And if necessary download the STL files to analyze. The project coordinator has the ability to adjust pricing if the request or STL files warrants a change in pricing. The coordinator will then respond to your request with comments and the updated quote if changed. You will receive this updated quote via e-mail. In the e-mail there is a link that will open up the quote on the RedEye RPM site, where you can then continue to process the order. Find out how to use this option in the following demo. Forward Quote Use this option when approval or review of a quotation is required. By checking "Authorize recipients to order ", the recipient will have the ability to open your quotation and continue to place the order. This function is ideal for organizations that require a Purchase Agent to authorize and place orders. Note: When using the "Authorize" option, the recipient is only allowed limited access to the quotation. They only have the ability to review and order, not to change the quotation. View the following Forward Quote demo.

Items for Manual Quoting There will be instances where the automated RedEye RPM quoting engine is not able to provide an instant quote. The main reasons this could happen are: 1. Part Size - Parts that are larger than the build envelope will require manual quoting. 2. Specific Materials - Parts run in our PPSF material require extra analysis to determine the best way to build. 3. Large Quantities - We would like to assure the best pricing for large quantity orders as well as work with you to determine an appropriate shipping schedule. You will still have the option to submit the files and quote to RedEye RPM for manual quoting. See how this works in the following demo. Items for Manual Quoting .
