Overview

ScanStudio PRO adds powerful tools to convert your 3D Scan data into a CAD model.

While CORE creates mesh models, PRO adds features to automatically transform your triangular mesh surfaces into NURBS surfaces.

CAD systems use NURBS (NonUniform Rational B Splines) to define shapes because they can be parametrically manipulated.

These surfaces can be exported to your CAD system as NURBS patches, or as a series of splines (outline curves).

A typical CAD workflow is to export a stack of spline curves describing a shape, and then loft through the splines in your CAD system to create an idealized solid model.

CORE Included

Every seat of PRO also includes all the features of the full ScanStudio CORE application. The additional features listed below are those functions found exclusively in PRO.
