Master Bond’s anaerobic adhesives/sealants are single component polymer compositions which harden at room temperature between steel, aluminum, copper and most other metal surfaces. They cure in the absence of air. The compounds are available in a variety of thicknesses, cure speeds, strengths, temperature and chemical resistance properties. They require no mixing and contain no solvents.

Master Bond anaerobics are primarily used as threadlockers. They prevent screws, nuts, bolts and studs from loosening due to vibration, impact or shock. Anaerobic systems eliminate the use of lock washers and various other fastening devices. These adhesive compositions also retain and seal bearings, bushings, seals, keys and splines. Assemblies are securely and permanently sealed against corrosion and leakage.
