DEWE-3200 Series Overview The DEWE-3200 elevates the original DEWE-3000 (1997) to a whole new level! Still our most compact full-featured model with your choice of DAQ/PAD or MDAQ modules on the left side panel, DEWE-3200 raises the bar with the CoreDuo processor and notebook-style motif. In addition, this model is available with battery power (runs for 2+ hours without external power connected), or standard AC (works on any standard power system anywhere in the world). The battery version can also be run directly from 18-24 VDC, and we have an adapter for 10-32VDC, so you can power it easily inside any vehicle which provides 12VDC, 24 VDC, 28 VDC, etc. This power adapter is isolated, protecting your system against noisy data and interference from the power system. The screen closes when the system is not in use, protecting it against damage. The whole unit is made from lightweight but strong aluminum, and comes with Dewetron's unique rubber corners, further protecting it against shock & vibration, and also protecting working surfaces from scratching. In the battery powered version, you can "hot-swap" the batteries -- even if you are running from them, and AC is not connected! This is a fantastic and unique Dewetron feature. When you're back in the lab, connect the DEWE-3200 back up to the included AC power adapter, and it will recharge the batteries automatically, even if the power is switched off.

Choice of Models The DEWE-3200 series is available in two basic models, as follows: - DEWE-3200 - 8 slots for DAQ/PAD modules, for up to 8 dynamic input channels (a DSUB connector is provided for easy connection of an external signal conditioning add-on box)
- DEWE-3201 - Any 16-ch MDAQ assembly on the left side panel, for a total of 16 dynamic input channels

Calibration Recommendation  The recommended calibration cycle on most Dewetron products is 12 months. Products which are used only in laboratory conditions may be eligible for a 24-month calibration cycle. But please plan for calibration in accordance with your own corporate or governmental requirements and/or regulations.

In Europe we calibrate according to ISO standards. In the USA we calibrate according to NIST standards.
